Your Help Begins Now! Often times a parent will attend a meeting and acronyms are used that are confusing, data isn’t explained and the process is rushed. This can leave a parent feeling as though school personnel are not supportive and not caring. My goal is that school divisions provide best practice and parents feel empowered to make the right decisions for their child’s education. Helping You Get the Support You Need! Nikki Moore, M.S.Ed., is a state certified educator and licensed administrator that has over twenty-five years of experience advocating for children and helping school divisions implement best practice. She is a former division director and district compliance specialist. She believes that effective IEP teams require people to work in a collaborative method for consensus-based decision making, preventing conflict and finding resolution for the benefit of the child. As a result, an individualized educational program is developed with meaningful parent input and an appropriate public education to meet the child’s needs.
